Problem Statement

With the increase in the effects of climate change plaguing the farmers in Brazil, we want to provide a way for farmers to get the same yield from their crops without having to resort to more climate impacting solutions.

Solution Statement

We are going to research and develop seed strands that are more resistant to temperature changes and water levels fluctuations We will also invest into R&D for more sustainable farming techniques and data collection so we are able to better assist farmers with what seeds to plant and when, to optimize their farm lands.

We are going to target mid- to large-scale farmers in Brazil’s drought-prone regions or regions effected heavily by climate change. We also aim to reach cooperatives and sustainable farming programs. To reach our audience, we will focus on a digital and on the field marketing tactic. This includes participating in agricultural fairs, local radio, web ads and setting up demonstration plots in partnership with farmer initiatives. Discounts or bundled advisory services will be given out to first time buyers.

Business Launch Strategy

Our sales strategy focuses on building direct relationships with farmers and cooperatives in areas that are being effected most by climate changes. Sales will be driven mostly through direct outreach by a small, trained sales team and partnerships with established agri-retailers who already have trust and access to local farmer networks.
